2017 COUNCIL ELECTION

Nominations to fill two vacant positions on the Institute’s Council for a term of three years opened on Wednesday 27 September 2017. Nominations will close at 5.00pm on Monday 23 October 2017.  

The Institute has produced a brochure, Leading Your Profession, to assist in understanding the commitment level and obligations of a Councillor, the process for election, along with the challenges, expectations and rewards that can be expected in being a Council member.

How do i nominate?

You must be a Fellow to be eligible to nominate. Each nominee must complete the Nomination Form (your three nominators must be Fellows), Nominee Details Form and Probity Declaration, as well as provide a headshot photo (in jpg format).  [The three forms are PDF -fillable forms to enable you to download, complete and submit the forms.]

Nominees may provide a statement of 1,000 words or less outlining their reasons for standing for election to Council and their objectives should they be elected. Nominees are also invited to have the Institute arrange a short video of them speaking about their nomination.

Council has determined that the Institute reserves the right to clarify or correct any factual misstatements in matters relating to the election.
