Council election
Elections are held when more than three council nominations have been received.
Voting in the 2025 Council Election opened at 9:00am AEDT Monday 13 October and will close at 5:00pm AEDT Friday 31 October.
All Fellows should have received an email from the Institute through BigPulse our secure online voting system with a unique link to vote. If you did not receive your email, or have any questions regarding the Council Election, please contact the Returning Officer, Brad Sherringham
As per the Council Election Policy, the candidate ballot order was determined following a random draw.
The Institute uses Single Transferable Vote (STV), a proportional representation system that ensures votes are not wasted and Council Members are elected in proportion to voter preferences. Rank at least one candidate (number 1 as your first preference), and up to five in total.
