How we deliver our actuarial qualification programs

  • Our qualification programs are delivered entirely online.
  • Subjects are offered over two 16-week semesters annually.
  • Assessments are a mix of assignments, quizzes and exams. 
  • Educator-run tutorials and industry-leading guest speakers are available live or on-demand.
  • Our Educators guide and support you through your study to become an actuary.

Actuary Program and Fellowship Program enrolment periods are during December and June each year.

Who should study with us?

Actuarial graduates who wish to become an actuary, and have to undertake further professional education to do so, should study with us. We offer a diverse range of subjects that lead to qualification as an Associate or Fellow with the Actuaries Institute.

We have eleven dedicated industry Fellows who teach and empower students with specialist knowledge and professional skills. They are supported by over 200 Fellows who ensure high education standards and quality qualifications.

Our education program equips you with the professional knowledge and skills to become an actuary. There is also a practical work experience requirement you need to complete in order to qualify.

Our qualification program is always evolving to make sure actuaries’ skills and knowledge meet the changing needs of our clients and communities. Our program was updated in 2019. For students who commenced actuarial studies prior to 2019, transition arrangements may apply if you’re continuing with your studies.
