The Institute provides contact between actuaries and senior members of the profession to provide an avenue for confidential discussion of sensitive or ethical issues.
The 'sounding board' on any individual matter does not provide advice but listens to the member's issue and canvasses matters to consider. Any subsequent decisions or actions are the responsibility of the enquirer.
