Once you’ve completed your Actuary or Fellowship Programs, we invite you to celebrate your qualification achievements with a certificate presentation at our Graduation Dinner.

Celebrating your graduation with us

We invite you to celebrate your important qualification milestones with your family, friends, and colleagues at our graduation dinners in Sydney and Melbourne, or at presidential dinners in other locations. 

During these special events, you'll receive your Fellow or Associate designation certificate from the Actuaries Institute.

Upcoming graduation ceremony dates are:

  • Register now - Melbourne - Pan Pacific, Southbank, Tuesday 8 September - Please register by 21 August 2026
  • Register now - Sydney - Dockside, Dawes Point, Tuesday 24 November - Pleaser register by 6 November 2026

Graduation eligibility



To be eligible for a designation certificate, members are required to have met all the requirements of their program. This includes formal approval of their designation by the Institute. To confirm your eligibility, please contact the Education Team

Register and confirm your certificate presentation


To purchase your tickets, please register yourself and your guests by using the above registration links. To register a guest, first register yourself, then choose additional attendee under your details on the booking page.



If you’re intending on receiving your certificate at a graduation dinner, please email our Member Services team to confirm. This will make sure that you’re included in the certificate presentation during the dinner. 

When will you be approved for your new Associate or Fellow membership?


Please note that new memberships, changes to membership and reinstatements are reported to the CEO for approval bimonthly on the first Tuesday in February, April, July*, August, October, December*. 

* exceptions to the rule to accommodate Education Results.
