The Actuaries Institute is now inviting abstract submissions for papers and presentations for the 2027 All Actuaries Summit.

The Summit will empower you with the confidence to navigate this shift and the perspective to see the bigger impact your judgement has, on the people you serve, on the communities you're part of, and on the profession's next chapter.
Submission deadlines
- Submissions are open online from Monday 3 August 2026.
- Submit your abstracts online for the curators to review by Friday 16 October 2026, 5pm AEDT.
- We will notify you whether your submission has been accepted in early December 2026.
Submission guidelines
- Submissions in all practice areas will be considered.
- Paper synopsis recommendation: three to four paragraphs.
- Authors should disclose whether they will be presenting in-person. These abstracts will be viewed favourably.
- Our curators evaluate each submission on the strength of its topic and quality.
- Due to limited program capacity, not all abstracts will be accepted, and late submissions will not be considered.
- Create an account to submit and track your abstract through Cvent.
- Submissions accepted as PDF or Word.
Information on submission acceptance
If your abstract has been accepted, here's what to expect:
- The Summit runs Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 May 2027 at The International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney.
- Date and time will be allocated, with presenters advised accordingly.
- Please note, concurrent session presenters don't receive complimentary registration. If you'd rather not register for the full day, you're welcome to attend just for your presentation.

The All Actuaries Summit Prizes
The All Actuaries Summit awards two research prizes each year. The Melville All Actuaries Summit Prize, the monetary value of the prize is AUD$5,000 and the Carol Dolan All Actuaries Summit Prize.
All Actuaries Summit Papers 2026
In 2026, we received a strong range of papers that pushed the profession forward. Two submissions stood out: Strategic Climate Resilience in First Nations Social Housing , winner of the Melville Prize, and Making All the Right Noise, winner of the Carol Dolan Prize.
