Management dealing with a cyber crisis

Cyber incidents rarely unfold with complete information. Decisions on escalation, notification, disclosure and ransom demands often need to be made quickly while facts are still emerging.

In this interactive workshop, participants will step into the shoes of a management team at an Australian insurance technology platform facing an escalating cyber incident. Through evolving scenarios, interactive voting and facilitated discussions, participants will navigate competing priorities, make decisions under pressure and explore practical lessons in cyber risk governance and crisis management.

The workshop welcomes participants of all experience levels, from university students to experienced actuaries and risk professionals.
No specialist cyber knowledge is required, as the focus is on decision-making, professional judgement and effective challenge rather than technical expertise or regulatory detail.
