GenAI in Practice: A Member Sharing Session - Virtual

Presented by Ean Chan

Virtual Event

2 CPD Points (Virtual Registration attendance)

Oct 20 2026 12:30PM - Oct 20 2026 1:30PM

Join fellow actuaries in Melbourne, Sydney or online to share how you are applying or thinking about applying GenAI at work. The session will start with actuaries leading GenAI adoption—Victor Bajanov, Ean Chan or Tim Lam—who will share their real-world use cases before opening the discussion to the broader group.

To get the most out of the session, attendees should come armed with a use case or idea of their own to share. The discussion-based format is designed for a range of experience levels, with plenty of opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss challenges and hear how peers across different practice areas are approaching GenAI.

Sessions in Melbourne and Sydney are in-person only; the virtual session is the option for those unable to attend in either city. None of the sessions will be recorded, so you can share openly in a candid peer-to-peer setting.

This is also a great opportunity to contribute towards the two-hour GenAI CPD requirement coming into effect from 1 October 2026 under the revised PS1.
