About this event

Come for the walk. Stay for the connections.

We've swapped our usual event format for a stroll along Wulugul Walk, the harbourside promenade winding through Barangaroo that opened up once off-limits land. Wulugul Walk is named after wulugul, the local Indigenous word for kingfish.

Just like this newly connected land, this walk is your path to build your own connections while taking in one of the city's most striking views. Expect good conversation, unexpected perspectives, and a group of people who get what you do.

Date: Wednesday, 18 November 2026
Walk: 5:30pm – 6:15pm
Registrations open from 5:15pm
Refreshments and Nibbles: 6:15pm – 7:30pm
(Paragon Hotel | Circular Quay)
Meeting Point: Barangaroo Wharf 1
Cost: Free, RSVPs are essential.

About the walk

Wulugul Walk: For generations, Sydneysiders have been unable to walk along the Sydney Harbour foreshore between Walsh Bay and Cockle Bay. Wulugul Walk runs along the Barangaroo precinct foreshore, from Barangaroo House in the south to the northern part of Barangaroo Reserve in the north. It gets its name from wulugul, the local Indigenous word for kingfish, a prized catch for Aboriginal people long before European settlement.
