The actuarial education program in Australia is made up of three parts:

Gain technical skills, learn about processes and manage difference of opinion in organisations. Graduate as a qualified actuary and Associate (AIAA) of the Institute.

Add depth and specialisation to your education and train to be a leader in your chosen field. Graduate as a Fellow (FIAA) of the Institute.

YOUR JOURNEY TO QUALIFICATION

To qualify as an actuary, you need to complete both your study and professional experience requirements.

As a Student Member of the Institute, you may enrol in our subjects.  You may also have your exemptions granted for subjects you’ve completed if your grades meet the required academic standards.
