HELP YOUR STUDENTS TO FIND OUT MORE FROM A REAL LIFE ACTUARY

The Actuaries Institute's High School Program aims to nurture the interest of mathematically gifted high school students so they are able to consider an actuarial career at an early stage.

Through the program, the Institute organises school visits where volunteers deliver a presentation about the profession today, outline study and job pathways, share their own actuarial career journey experiences, and engage in Q&A.

With the help of our Members who volunteer to deliver presentations, the Institute’s High School Program is able to provide students with a unique insight into the profession and inspire them to learn more.

A visit involves up to two actuaries (a senior member of the profession and/or a current working student or graduate) talking to your students about what an actuary does, the steps to becoming an actuary and more importantly what life is like as an actuary.

Give your students the opportunity to have valuable face to face interaction with an actuary and have their questions about their future readily answered.
