Course timings and assessment

  • You can enrol in the course at any time.
  • You’ll have nine months to complete the course. This includes a course assessment, which has two levels: Topic by topic assessment and final assessment

Topic by topic assessment

Participants can track their progress by completing five to eight critical thinking questions at the end of each topic. Answers are submitted as short written responses, after which model solutions are provided for self-assessment. These assessments carry no formal weight but may be reviewed if the final assessment result is borderline. Participants passing on their first attempt won’t receive personalised feedback on these assessments.

Final assessment

The final assessment includes seven short-answer critical thinking questions chosen randomly from a set of three per topic. There is no time limit, and participants may use reference materials; however, only two attempts are allowed to pass.

Results

Final assessment responses are reviewed within four weeks. If satisfactory, a ‘Pass’ grade is awarded. If not, participants receive personalised feedback, guidance on review areas, and an additional four weeks to reattempt the assessment with new questions. The second attempt is final.

Certificate

A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the final assessment.
