About this event
It’s been a big year of exams, projects and client deadlines - time to celebrate with the people who get it.

Join your fellow Canberra actuaries for an end-of-year Christmas celebration at Nara Peace Park. With the warmer evenings finally here, we’re taking the festivities outdoors for a relaxed gathering to close out 2026 together. Catering will be provided, along with a few casual activities to keep the evening light and social.

Who should attend
This event is open to all actuaries in the Canberra community, regardless of age or career stage. Whether you’re a student just starting out, an early-career actuary building your network, or a senior professional who’s been part of the community for decades, there’s a place for you here.

Why attend
This is your chance to grow your Canberra actuarial network in a relaxed, low-pressure setting. Reconnect with familiar faces, meet new colleagues, and build genuine connections ahead of the new year. No formal agenda, just good company and a chance to celebrate the year that was.

Spots are limited, so register early to secure your place.

*Participation in this event is voluntary and at your own risk. It is not covered by the Institute’s insurance.
