Australia’s climate disclosure regime is now live. Actuaries have an important role where judgement matters most: scenarios, resilience, financial effects, uncertainty, risks and opportunities. This session will introduce the proposed PG8, explain when it applies, and test how it can support high-quality actuarial work under AASB S2. It will seek your feedback on potential grey areas of scope, application, proportionality, materiality, and the credibility of management strategies.
