AI is reshaping how we work, think and solve problems. Join us for a discussion on what this means for general insurance and the actuarial profession, how the industry is adapting, and where the risks and opportunities may emerge. (For the record, this teaser wasn't written by AI...or was it.)

Proposed structure for the session

  • 30-45 min panel session.
    • Dylan on how he's seen AI utilised in the actuarial space, what has worked well and how it's developed. Dylan is our AI expertise for the session.
    • Jen on institute perspective, incorporating AI into study, importance for young actuaries development, and the profession impacts from AI.
    • Andrew providing a senior actuary perspective on what AI means for big business, how it changes the workforce and seeing the bigger picture of AI.
  • Open house Chatham house style on future of AI or anything presenters have shared.
