Chris Dolman
Chris Dolman is working to ensure that AI and other data-driven decisions operate responsibly, thoughtfully and ethically. He is an active member of the Institute’s General Insurance and Data Science Practice Committees, and was the 2022 Actuary of the Year.
Lauren Soloman
Lauren is the Special Adviser, Governance Practice for the National AI Centre. She brings nearly 20 years’ experience working at the intersection of people, the governance of markets and technology. Lauren has held leadership positions across the corporate, non-profit, government and academic sectors, as well as being a company director. She established and led the Consumer Policy Research Centre in Melbourne from 2017 – 2021, where she and her team produced leading research on the impacts of the digital transformation of markets on consumers. Since 2022, Lauren has specialised in the field of AI governance, leading a program of work at the Human Technology Institute where she co-authored the Directors’ Guide for AI Governance for the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the State of AI Governance in Australia report.
