For reduced registration fees (Student Members of the Actuaries Institute, those under 25 years old and low income earners — under $85,000 p/a), please complete the special rate registration form and return to events@actuaries.asn.au.

Registration Pricing

All prices are in $AUD (Australian Dollars) and include GST, unless otherwise stated.

Registration Information

Full registration - In-person

A full registration includes access to all sessions, meal breaks, networking drinks and the gala dinner.

Day registration – in person

A day registration includes attendance to one day of the conference, including all sessions and meal breaks taking place on that day. A day registration also includes access to the networking drinks or gala dinner. Please indicate which you would like to attend when registering. 

Shared registrations

Shared registrations will not be available for IDSS 2023. Registrants are not permitted to share their name tags or log in details with another person.

Virtual registrations

Virtual registration includes streaming and on-demand access to sessions from Monday 13 November - Tuesday 14 November. 

Group registrations

To register a group, please follow the below instructions:

1. Click “Register”
2. Log in or create an account 
3. To register someone other than yourself, enter their email address into the email field (Please note the email address will need to be the one associated with their member or non-member account).
4. If the person has an account, their information will be populated (For privacy reasons you will not be able to see these details).
5. If the person does not have an account, please fill in their details.
6. Once the form is complete, scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Click here to add more registrants."
7. Repeat steps 4-7 until you have registered everyone
8. Click Register
9. Check the cart page to ensure you have registered everyone
10. Proceed to payment. 

Gala dinner and networking drinks registration

Gala Dinner and Networking Drinks tickets are available for individual purchase for partners of attendees or those wishing to attend the gala dinner or networking drinks only.

Reduced registration fees

Reduced registration fees will be offered to student members of the Actuaries Institute, those under twenty-five years of age and those with an income of $80,000 or under. Please complete a special rate registration form and return to events@actuaries.asn.au.

Registration terms and conditions

If a registrant is unable to attend the conference (in-person or virtually), the registration can be transferred to someone else at any time.

If the substitution involves an attendee change from a Member to a Non-Member (or vice versa), any difference in the registration cost will be payable by you or refunded by us as applicable.

When the registrant is unable to attend (in-person or virtually), and is not in a position to transfer their place to another person, then the following refund arrangements apply:

• 60 or more days before the conference: In-Person registrants may transfer to a virtual ticket and the difference (of the equivalent earlybird 1, 2 or full rate) will be refunded. In-Person and Virtual registrants can cancel with no penalty.
• Within 60 days (or less) of the conference: In-Person registrants may transfer to a virtual ticket, but no refunds are applicable. In the event of cancellation, refunds are not applicable for In-Person or Virtual registrants.

If the Actuaries Institute cancels the in-person component of the IDSS 2023 and hosts a virtual IDSS 2023 only:

• In-person registrants will be transferred to a virtual registration and the difference (of the equivalent earlybird 1, 2 or full rate) will be refunded.
• Virtual registrations will be not be refunded.

If the Actuaries Institute postpones the IDSS 2023

• Your registration will be automatically held for the postponed IDSS 2023.
• Refunds will be provided upon request.

Where no refunds are applicable the Actuaries Institute may review this policy in the case of special circumstances, where sufficient evidence is provided.

Insurance

The Actuaries Institute will not be held responsible for any claims regarding travel, accommodation or registration related costs. Please obtain your own insurance if you have any concerns.

Privacy

All delegate names and organisations will appear on the 2023  Injury and Disability Schemes Seminar Delegate List. You have the option of excluding your name from the delegate list when registering for the event and information collected is subject to our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer: By registering for this event you give the Actuaries Institute permission to publish any photographs that may be taken of you at the IDSS by the official photographer or HQ staff. This includes the Institute websites, Actuaries Digital and social media platforms.
