Iris Lun, Co-founder, Chief Actuary and Director at 10Life

Iris is the Co-founder and Director of 10Life, a Hong Kong based Insurtech with a mission to bring fair insurance to life with fair products, fair sales and fair claims. She is an experienced international actuary with 25 years in the profession, with leadership roles across multi-national insurance institutions. A strong advocate for DEI and innovation for the actuarial profession, the insurance industry and the wider society, Iris is an influencer at industry events and the media. Iris currently serves as a Council Member of the Actuarial Society of Hong Kong (ASHK) and chairs its Actuarial Innovation Committee. She was a Non-Executive Director of the Actuaries Institute Australia in 2020–2022, and is currently a member of its International Committee. Iris holds a combined Bachelor of Commerce (Actuarial Studies) and Arts (Japanese) degree from the University of Melbourne. In 2023, she is the finalist of the ‘Advance Global Australian Award – Technology & Entrepreneurship’.
