We're honoured to announce SANE as the official IDSS 2023 Charity Partner. SANE is the leading national mental health organisation for people with complex mental health issues in Australia, and for the families and friends that support them.
About SANE
SANE is unique in their focus on supporting people who experience complex mental health issues, trauma and supporting the mental health of those who are autistic and people with an intellectual disability.
SANE provides free digital and telehealth support services to bridge the gaps in mental health and support recovery, including peer support, counselling, community forums, peer-led groups, art and social groups and information resources. Their mission goes beyond raising awareness—it's about fostering understanding, support, and enabling transformative actions.
Why SANE?
This partnership aligns with the themes of IDSS 2023, spotlighting the presence of mental health in the injury and disability space. It's integral to being able to focus on the whole person to improve individual outcomes.

As part of this partnership, we've set up a custom fundraising page for SANE. We're asking all attendees and supporters to donate to keep SANE's mental health services free and running. By donating, you'll help care for people living with mental health needs like schizophrenia, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder and depression, as well as their families and friends. Together, we can change lives and create brighter futures.
