How do I decide which days to attend?

The summit program has been designed for two-day attendance with one day focused on your practice area and a second day for all practice areas, where cross-practice challenges and thought leadership will be shared.

  • Wednesday 1 May is targeted to Members and professionals working in the life, superannuation and wealth management sectors.

  • Thursday 2 May targets all practice areas including risk, international perspectives and leadership and professionalism.

  • Friday 3 May has been designed for Members and professionals in the general insurance, data science and health space.

If you are attending days two and three of the program, we encourage you join us early on the evening of Wednesday 1 May for networking drinks.

The Gala Dinner on Thursday 2 May will bring together your profession, with all practice areas.

Do any Summit sessions count towards Professionalism Training CPD?

A session tagged with the Leadership and Professionalism stream does not mean it can be counted towards Professionalism training CPD. If a session is specifically for Professionalism training, it will be mentioned in the description.

Will session recordings be available?

Yes, video recordings of plenaries and audio recordings of concurrent sessions will be available on the virtual platform. You will only be able to access the recordings from days you have registered to attend.

After I register, when can I expect to receive event information?

Upon registering you will receive a registration confirmation email. In the month ahead of the conference you will receive the delegate newsletters which will contain all the information you need.

What is the dress code?

The dress code for the Summit sessions and social events is business casual.

Flights

We recommend booking flights early to avoid disappointment.

How many CPD points will I receive?

Two CPD points are awarded per hour of event attendance for either sessions, networking or virtual attendance.

Are you providing an airport transfer?

A bus is available from GCCEC to Gold Coast airport at the conclusion of the sessions on Thursday 2 May and Friday 3 May. To secure your place, contact us at events@actuaries.asn.au.
