Taylor Fry Prize

Taylor Fry Injury and Disability Schemes Seminar Prize

A Taylor Fry prize may be awarded for a paper submitted to the 2019 Injury and Disability Schemes Seminar.

The paper must be submitted to the paper by Friday 18 October 2019 to be eligible for the prize.

The prize is an award of up to $2,500, generously provided by Taylor Fry.  It is independently judged and may be awarded to the author of a paper considered by the Committee to have either:

  • effected a significant advance in the profession’s understanding or knowledge of a specific subject or sphere of knowledge; or
  • collected or presented existing material in such a way as to raise the awareness of the profession regarding an important contemporary issue.

The judging panel is to award a prize only if the subject paper is considered sufficiently meritorious. It need not make any award in relation to a particular seminar.

If a recipient is awarded, the prize will be presented at the 2019 Injury and Disability Schemes Seminar.
