To facilitate and drive thinking, discussion and activity around the provision of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) education to actuarial students as part of the qualification process. The sub-committee also supports wider CPD offerings in ERM to members. The sub-committee works with and supports a number of parties in this area, including the Institute Secretariat, the Institute Council and other committees, global actuarial bodies (e.g. the CERA treaty board) and local universities.

Associate Director Ernst & Young
Peter has nearly 20 years’ experience, principally as an actuarial consultant, across general insurance (including serving as CRO of a Lloyd’s syndicate), health and wider fields. He has worked in New Zealand, the UK and Australia. Peter is a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) and is also chair of the RMPC Education subcommittee and co-chair of the Cyber Insurance Working Group.

CFO, Insurance and Superannuation, AMP
Greg has worked for AMP most of his career, starting as an Actuarial graduate in 2000. He has held various roles in Actuarial, Finance, Risk Management and Strategy, and worked in Australia, New Zealand, India and the UK.
Most recently in AMP New Zealand Greg worked as the General Manager, Strategy and Risk (from 2011 to 2013) and then Chief Actuary (2013 to 2015). He was seconded to act as the Director, Insurance for AMP’s Australian business during 2015 and was then appointed to his current role as CFO, Insurance and Superannuation. This includes finance responsibilities for all of AMP’s life insurance entities.
He is a qualified actuary, and became a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (FIAA) in 2003 and Certified Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) in 2010.

Danielle Di Sano
Lead modeller, Suncorp
Danielle has seven years of experience working in banking. She is currently the lead modeller for Suncorp Bank's Non Retail portfolios. Danielle also volunteers as an editor of the Actuaries Digital Magazine, and is always on the lookout for people with Risk Management articles to contribute to that publication.

Commercial Pricing Manager, Suncorp
Jason works as a Commercial Pricing Manager at Suncorp. Prior to this role, he worked in pricing analytics, domestic property insurance and ABS economic survey designs/methodologies. Jason has been with the ERM education subcommittee since 2014 and is currently an external examiner for UNSW.

Annie is a Fellow, specialising in risk, control and actuarial management for insurance companies world-wide. She advises and supports companies in managing financial risk, insurance risk, operational (including technology) risk as well as strategic and emerging risks ("ERM Framework"), leveraging on her actuarial science and finance knowledge within the context of Solvency II, transitional Solvency I or local RBC regimes. Her portfolios range from a small single emerging market insurance fund (cUSD 50m) to a large multi-market insurance fund (cUSD80-100bn). She holds a Master's of Applied Finance and a B. Economics (Actuarial Science) from Macquarie University, Australia and a Master's of Board Management from Hong Kong University. She is currently based in the UK and Asia Pacific.

Currently, Mike teaches the Part II units at Monash university. He has more than twenty five years experience in life assurance and wealth management in the UK, Germany, Luxembourg, Italy and Australia. For a number of years, he was the Head of Actuarial for the continental European business of a large UK bank. He was the divisional representative of the Financial Risk committee of the bank and led the actuarial aspects when acquiring continental European businesses

Martin has been a member of the education sub-committee for ERM since 2009. He has represented the Institute of Actuaries of Australia on the Global CERA Review Panel since 2011 and is also the external examiner for the Australian National University CERA examination.
