2022 Council Nominations

Nominations inviting Fellows to stand for Council are now open and will close at COB Friday 30 September 2022.

As part of its terms of reference, the Nominations Council Committee, on behalf of Council, is responsible for encouraging members to consider standing for election to Council.

To support the 2022-24 growth strategy and face the challenges of the future head-on, we need a diverse range of collaborative leaders on Council, who understand and support our strategy, have the commitment and skills to make a difference, and share our vision that this is our time.

Of the current Council members who will serve in 2023, 38% are female, there is broad experience across the more traditional practice areas and, by location there are 75% in NSW, 13% in Tasmania, and 13% in New Zealand.

Three new Council members will be elected. The Nominations Committee is keen to encourage nominations from emerging areas of the profession – risk, data science and public policy, as well as encouraging younger actuaries to nominate.

Below are the three forms required for submitting a nomination. Please complete all three forms and submit them to Brad Sherringham.
