The Biennial Convention was successfully held in Sydney from Sunday 10 to Wednesday 13 April 2011. The Convention theme Beyond the Mandate focused on exploring the breadth of the actuarial role in the business community.
As the premium event on the Institute’s calendar, the Biennial Convention is the profession’s opportunity to explore new directions, share ideas with peers and invite commentary and debate.
The Convention consistently attracts business professionals from a wide arena including; banking and finance, general, life and health insurance, investments, risk management, superannuation; and broader areas such as health financing and energy and the environment.
