Annual General Meeting
The Institute’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held annually in accordance with the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and the Institute’s Constitution.
At each AGM the Council shall submit its report of the affairs of the Institute and the preceding year's transactions together with the financial statements, duly verified and signed by the Auditor and the report of the Auditor.
The AGM notice is sent to all Members via the Institute’s weekly Information Bulletin except where a Member does not have an email address.
2011 AGM
The 2011 AGM was held on 12 May 2011 at 12:50pm at the Institute of Actuaries of Australia Level 7, 4 Martin Place, Sydney.

Voting
Only Voting Members (Fellows) are entitled to vote at any AGM. The Voting Member must vote personally except on a poll, upon which the Voting Member may vote either personally or by proxy.
Voting Members may appoint a proxy to attend and vote at an AGM. Any person may be appointed as a proxy by completing a proxy form.
