The General Insurance Seminar focuses on the rapidly evolving issues faced by general insurers including regulation and legislative changes; medical malpractice, professional indemnity, public liability, industry structure and specific market segments. The 18th General Insurance Seminar is scheduled for 2012.

Biennial Convention
The Biennial Convention is the premier event on the Institute’s calendar and provides a dynamic forum for discussion and debate covering all areas of activity that involve the actuarial profession. The next Biennial Convention is scheduled for 2013.
2011 Biennial Convention
Accident Compensation Seminar
The Accident Compensation Seminar is an event for insurance practitioners, scheme managers and actuaries involved in accident compensation schemes. The program traditionally focuses on statutory compensation in the form of workers compensation and CTP schemes while expanding discussion into new areas such as medical indemnity insurance. The 13th Accident Compensation Seminar will be held 20-22 November 2011.
