Pathway to Fellowship
For members who have not yet completed Part II
To become a Fellow (FIAA), members need to complete the following requirements:
- Part I
- Part II 2011 (comprising Part IIA: the Actuarial Control Cycle, and Part IIB: Investment and Asset Modelling)
- Part III
- the Professionalism Course
For members who completed Part II as the Actuarial Control Cycle only
Members who completed Part II the Actuarial Control Cycle only (i.e. have not completed Part IIB Investments) must take the Investments Bridging Course if they do not take any Investments related options in Part III (i.e. C1, C5A or CFA) to become Fellows.
To become Fellows, these members must complete the following requirements:
- Part I
- Part II the Actuarial Control Cycle
- Part III (including one of either C1, C5A, CFA or the Investments Bridging Course)
- the Professionalism Course
*NB – the Professionalism Course and the Investments Bridging Course only need to be completed once. i.e. if they are completed to become an Associate, they do not need to be completed again to become a Fellow.
